We need significant fundraising support, now and ongoing through the 2014 election season. If you have fundraising skills, or if you have contacts with people of means to whom one of us could make a fundraising presentation, please contact our director of fundraising, George Ripley, at:

To be a qualified Sponsor, the candidate organization must donate at least $250 to our cause. At their option, they can have their logo posted on our website.

Join our list of affiliates on the Affiliates page! (No donation is required.) Affiliates receive inside information on our campaigns.

Another key task for spirited volunteers is to work with other government entities to obtain their formal support for our work. See this link for details: http://9-11cc.org/index.php/sponsor-a-resolution/

We can never have too many endorsements for our work. If you know a person with name recognition who can add credibility to our campaign, please pass their direct contact information on to us; or, you may pursue this person on your own with our help. In certain cases, we can arrange for them to have a phone call or meeting with Senator Mike Gravel. Feel free to use or adapt the sample letter below to make an initial contact:

Re: Request for your endorsement of the Citizens 9/11 Commission Campaign

I am writing to ask for your endorsement of the new campaign for a new investigation of the events of September 11, 2011 through the creation of a citizens’ 9/11 investigative commission with grand jury powers. I thought of contacting you because of your many contributions to truth and justice.

This effort is called the Citizens 9/11 Commission Campaign. It’s approach is to create a new investigation that is free of governmental interference, fully funded by the public, and vested with subpoena power and the ability to obtain testimony under oath.

We believe that the best (and possibly the only workable) path to accomplish this objective is through the exercise of direct democracy. The general plan entails placing a ballot initiative before voters in one (or more) of the 24 states that have an initiative law.  You can learn much more about this overall effort at the website:

The Citizens 9/11 Commission Campaign has received numerous endorsements already (see below), and it is my hope that you might add your name to this distinguished list.

The campaign’s initial goal is to qualify in at least one state during thel election year of 2014; the states that are currently being considered are Massachusetts, Oregon, Maine, Alaska, Colorado, and DC. After that, the task will be to pass each initiative into law. After our success in any one of these state campaigns, and as we begin seating the new commission, other states, counties, and cities will be able to endorse and support this new law (through the “joint powers agreement” provision of the initiative). Soon, many parts of the entire country could be on record at the grassroots level for supporting a new commission. Much more could unfold from that platform.

Your endorsement and further support could really help get this effort rolling.

“Having served in the Congress, I can say that the best route to justice for the crimes of 9/11 must be, in our time, through the vehicle of state initiatives.”
Former U.S. Representative Dan Hamburg (D-Ukiah)

“We must go around the federal government and use state ballot initiatives to get a truly independent investigation of the crimes of 9/11 and their coverup.”
Dr. Robert M. Bowman, Lt. Col., USAF, ret., National Commander, “The Patriots”
Former Director, Advanced Space Programs Development, U.S. Air Force

“Seeing as the original Congressional investigation of the 9/11 tragedy does not even mention the 6-second collapse of the 47-story Building 7, and has many other flaws, it is time for a full public investigation with subpoena power. Why should any patriotic American be opposed to finding out the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth?”
Dr. Kevin Danaher, Co-Founder, Global Exchange

“Information surrounding 9/11 is filled with contradictions, misinformation, and partial facts. It is important for the American  people as a society to know the full uncensored truth regarding the events before and after September 11, 2001, which led us into a state of permanent war.”
—Peter Phillips Ph.D., President, Media Freedom Foundation/Project Censore

“We urgently need a proper investigation, with the power to subpoena evidence and testimony.”
Peter Dale Scott, distinguished author and poet
Professor Emeritus, University of California at Berkeley

"Senator Mike Gravel stood up to the U.S. military when it counted, regarding the Pentagon Papers.  I have heard him speak toward citizens taking charge in order to restore democracy, and I applaud Senator Gravel's effort to create a genuinely independent 9-11 investigation with subpoena powers.  I trust that as this initiative develops it will broaden dramatically."
Paul Zarembka, Professor of Economics, University of Buffalo, author of The Hidden History of 9-11 (Seven Stories Press)

“I fully endorse the call for a significant investigation of 9/11 with subpoena power and free of federal government interference.  There are many Americans and others who will testify under oath and allow us to find out:
1.  Why were there no air defenses that day?
2.  Why did WTC 7 fall at free-fall acceleration for over 100 feet?
3.  Who was involved in the put options on United and American Airlines just before 9/11?
4.  How did active thermitic material end up in the WTC dust in abundance?
5.  Who ordered the destruction of the WTC steel, the evidence of the great crime against America?
—Dr. Steven E. Jones, Full Professor of Physics, Brigham Young University (retired)

“I totally embrace direct democracy as a tool for uncovering the truth about what really happened on 9/11… in fact, direct democracy is the only way we are ever going to be able to solve the major problems that are plaguing this planet.”
– Ian Woods, Publisher/Editor, Global Outlook

“The evidence in hand points to the urgent need for a citizens’ investigation with grand jury powers.”
U.S. Senator Mike Gravel (D-Alaska, 1969-1981)
